Nettles and Goldenrod are powerful herbs in this blend, as they’re known to lessen the body’s histamine response to perceived allergens. These two herbs are powerhouses when it comes to allergy season, supporting us when we experience the typical allergy symptoms of scratchy throat, runny nose, and watery eyes. Mullein has an affinity for the lungs, bringing relief to dry, unproductive coughs. Cleavers enhances the function of the lymphatic system - the cleansing waters of our body - increasing the bodies’ ability to flush excess toxins, congestion, swelling and other stagnation. Ginger is a warming herb that is helpful for moving congestion of the sinuses, as well as warming the lungs to expel excess mucous. Ginger also helps with inflammation of the sinuses, and can be powerful in soothing pain from sinus pressure type of head aches.
